CAPA News

Term 2 has been a rewarding and fulfilling Teaching and Learning time for all of CAPA. Staff and students have been involved in some valuable experience that have strong links with our identity as a school and links to our local community.

Our classrooms remain the central point for laying the foundations of experience and inspiration. Whether it be learning the guitar in Years 7 and 8 Music; or planning and laying out a Notan design in Visual Art; delving deep into a Body of Work for the HSC Visual Arts; exploring the concepts and issues; planning and refining an individual or group performance in Drama; or developing a performance program in HSC Music…CAPA classrooms are a hive of activity.

In the community, we have students excelling as well, including our fantastic dance group that performed in the Central Coast Dance Festival; our Year 9-12 photographers that participated in the 3 Day Exposure Workshop with Gosford Council and now on display around the CBD; HSC Music Study Day for the region, the annual OnTrack performance at the Entertainment Grounds.

Look out for more exciting CAPA events in Term 3 including the Performing Arts Night (PAN), Central Coast Showcase and the HSC practical submissions and exams!!
