Principal's Report

“Leadership is the chance to help others grow”
At last Tuesday’s Myrniong assembly, I had the absolute pleasure of presenting our new primary leaders with their House Captain and Positions of Responsibility badges. It was a humbling experience as 25 boys and girls promised to ‘respect the rights of other people’, ‘display honesty and trust’, ‘set an example to others’, ‘try their best in all pursuits’ and ‘wear their badge with pride’. Most importantly Year 5 swore to ‘honour the privilege of their leadership role at the school’. I strongly believe that leadership’s greatest virtue is the chance to help others grow. I wish Macey Sanders, Will Merrin, Charlotte Rowe, Lachlan Rees, Lily Bradbeer, Jock Barrie, Lily Schroeder, Charlotte Millear, Tobe Adamson, Ella Churchill, Gabriel Marshall, Gabriella Officer, Chloe Baker, Sally Aitken, William Ingram, Harley Milich, Liam Baulch, Charlie Duver, Luke Marshall, Tyler Butcher, Natalie Featherston, Christian te Boekhorst, Archie Cameron, Thomas Stramann and Will Layley every success as they rise to the challenge in 2016.
