WELLBEING

Hello Everyone,

This week has been another rollercoaster of emotions for us all. Especially for our little people who don’t understand what their emotions are telling them at the moment. They know something big is happening but they are not sure how to feel about it.

Ensuring our students are connecting with their friends and family on a daily basis is very important. Think about some ways that you can communicate with others and give them a try over the next few weeks. Write a letter and ride it over to your friends house or send it in the post. Organise to meet up for a walk or bike ride, roller skating, skate board or scoot. The playground will be open in a couple of weeks time so that will be a huge benefit to many.

Throughout this week students have been participating in activities to help them become even more eSmart. There have been virtual classrooms with other students and activities in their daily schedule to encourage safety online.

On Thursday R U OK? Day was a great reminder that we all need to check in with ourselves and others at this time and going forward the students were equipped with some skills to recognise and to know when to ask others R U OK?  Many thanks to our classroom teachers for co-ordinating these activities.

Don’t forget you can become involved in webinars to help support your roles in maintaining safety online. Please see the link below:

Last week saw the introduction of our Remote Learning Legends. Congratulations to all students(and parents) who have shown great resilience and grit to keep our learning going during this time. The following students will receive a certificate.

A nice little something to keep you going.

  • The recipe name
  • Ingredients
  • Procedure
  • A picture which is optional of the food on it’s own, or a photo of you with your creation!
