A message from our Principal
Dear Parents,
We are closing in on the end of what has been a very ‘unusual’ term. It has been wonderful to have all students back at school this term, but also a little bit strange in the fact that we cannot yet do many school activities that would regularly occur during ‘Non-COVID’ times. I continue to thank our school community for your understanding concerning the restrictions that we must have in place to keep our school COVID safe and look forward to the time when we can welcome parents and the friends of our school back into the school environment.
Congratulations to our Week 9 Assembly award winners. These awards were presented on Wednesday at morning gatherings by our school captains. Well done to all recipients on their work.

Thank you to all of our parents and carers for taking the time this week to talk with classroom teachers during parent teacher conversations. These are such a valuable time of sharing information. Please contact the school to speak with your child's teacher at any time. Positive Parent/Teacher relationships are a vital component of a child's education.
Year 3 Check-in Assessments
Year 3 students will participate in a new reading and numeracy check-in assessment in weeks 9 Term 3, 2020. The Check-in assessment is a NSW Department of Education online reading and numeracy assessment, available to support schools to assess and monitor Year 3 student learning following the period of learning from home. The check-in assessments can supplement existing school practices to identify how students are performing in literacy and numeracy and to help teachers tailor their teaching more specifically to student needs. Year 5 completed a similar assessment earlier this term.
