School Council President

Thank you to everyone who sent in photos (except whoever sent me the spider photo that gave me nightmares). It looks like the Camp Out night was a great success, no matter whether you camped out in the garden, on your deck, or in your living room.

I'm sure many of you have watched the "Thank you" video that Alison was kind enough to put together to show our teachers and staff just how much everyone appreciates their hard work. We understand the last few months have been difficult for our students and families so we've organised a special "Welcome back" present for each and every student. I won't spoil the surprise but keep your eyes open early next week.

After being delayed due to Melbourne's lockdown, we're now seeing real progress on our oval refurbishment. The existing surface has been removed and the foundation is being compacted and re-leveled to improve drainage. We have identified a few water-logged spots and they are being excavated and refilled with crushed rock.

There's still plenty of work to do, but our students will be playing on the new surface in just a few weeks' time.
