5/6 Winter Sports

Soccer

The girls played the same team three times during the day and had mixed results. They won, drew and lost in which they ended up going down in a penalty shootout. With many of the girls playing soccer for the first time ever, it was terrific to see the teamwork, support and encouragement they gave each other. Well done to Lily, Natalie, Renee, Chloe, Ruby, Leila, Zahlia, Emily Violet, Sophie and Mikaylee.

The boys had a wonderful tournament winning each of their four games. There was some strong positional play and great teamwork as well as terrific sportsmanship. Angus, Leo and Arjun played some memorable passes that resulted in goals. The team qualified for the next round which was played on Wednesday. 

Well done to Leo, Angus, Lua, Arjun, Sam, Aarakai, Jamison, Codie, Xavier, Cayden, Kayden, Afif and Java for the great results and for representing our school in a positive manner.

Netball

Well done the the netball teams who participated well during the tournament. The mixed team recorded a number of wins which has sent them through to the next round. Well done to all participants who represented the school extremely well.
