State Football Trials 

A huge well done to four of our students who participated in the State Football trials. We had one of our House Captains, Campbell, make it all the way through to the Eastern Conferences, State Trial 1 and State Trial 2; meaning he made it to the top 84 boys starting from 750 registrations. Incredible effort!

We also had three Grade 5’s; Kayla, Olivia and Emily A who trialled for a spot in 2 squads out of 158 girls. Well done girls, I look forward to seeing how you go next year!

Soccer Incursion 

The Grade 3-6 students had their final Soccer Incursion by Football Australia during P.E lessons in Week 6. Students continued to work hard to learn the fundamentals of Soccer and participated in a number of activities to improve their skills. Well done everyone!

Division Cross Country

Well done to the 13 students who competed in Division Cross Country on Friday the 3rd of June. A big thank you to Ellie on the day for helping to marshall the course throughout the day. It was so great to see so many BHPS students running, filled with pride for our school and trying their best. A big Congratulations to Campbell B for making it into the Eastern Metropolitan Region Cross Country. We look forward to seeing how you go on the 14th of June!

Grade 5 & 6 Interschool Sports

The rainy and very cold day did not stop us from having a ball of a day at every sport! We were lucky enough to be able to host the Volleystars competition in our wonderful gym which was a lot of fun. Soccer played at Knox Park, AFL at Lewis Park, T-Ball at Gilbert Park and Netball at the Netball Regional Centre. Well done to all our students, Grade 5/6 teachers and aides for such a fantastic day.

A huge thank you to the following helpers for Interschool Sports this Wednesday; Danielle Tait, Pete Baker, Kim Brimelow, Peter Groenwegen, Louisa Brueckner, Kelly Chapman, Alicia Geddes, Kylie Taylor and 6 BK-12 students. These days cannot run without you and your support! So, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to help our students have the best day possible.
