MANCAVE & FLOURISH GIRL

MS MANDY MCCALLUM - DIRECTOR OF WELLBEING

On Tuesday 2nd March the Year 10 students spent the day developing their social and emotional wellbeing. The students worked with experienced facilitators who helped them foster healthy, positive mental health.

The Year 10 girls spent the day with the organisation called Flourish Girl at The Grain Shed. The girls were given the opportunity to build on the social and emotional tools needed to connect deeper within themselves. They learnt how to become more resilient and compassionate to themselves first before they look to help and support others.

The Year 10 boys worked with an organisation called ManCave at the Woorinen Football Clubrooms. The boys learnt to engage in meaningful conversations and were provided with the tools, mindsets and role models to become thriving adults that contribute to their community.
