5/6 Production - Oh What a Knight

The auditions have come to a close and I am pleased to say, everyone has a role to play. The cast list has been finalised and the standard was expectational. I would like to thank the following staff for their input into the cast: Miss O'Sullivan, Mrs Zanatta, Ginevra, Mrs Thornton, Mrs Clarke, Mr Smith, Mr Barnes, Mrs Healey, Miss Buzzini, Mr Laurie and Mrs Dyos.

My apologies to the students, as I was going to announce who had what role, yesterday - Thursday. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to school. I will meet with them on Tuesday lunchtime to celebrate their success and discuss how to make their role suit them. In the meantime if you can please find two display folders (as the script is over 42 pages long) or something similar for your child to put their script in. I plan to start this Tuesday lunchtime with a read through of the script.

It might be a good idea to have a discussion with your child, that they may not get the role they want. Rejection and disappointment are all valid and normal feelings and building resilience is invaluable for life. I have found a good website you might want to check out to help your child, should they be feeling disappointed and rejected.
