Celebration of Learning: May 28th 9am-10:30am
We encourage all current families to join us on May 28th from 9:00am to 10:30am as we celebrate our students' learning and achievements. We will be opening up the learning spaces and giving our parents an opportunity to walk around the school and see your child/ren's learning spaces. A lot of our families have never seen the inside of our school and we cannot wait to welcome you. Please keep posted on Compass for further information over the next two weeks.
Please note that on May 28th the School is open for our current families only. Our prospective families are invited to attend SMPS Open Day on June 9th from 9:30am - 11:00am. More information to come, stay tuned!
Save the Date: Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews
Save the date for our Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews: Thursday 24th June. This is the second last day of Term 2. Families will be given the option of attending at school or via Webex. Normal classes will not run on this day. Students will be required to attend for a portion of their interview time only. We want to give you warning so you can make alternate arrangements for this day. OSHClub is running all day from 7:00am-6:00pm for families wanting to book in. Bookings will be made available closer to the date.
Prep CSEF Package for 2021
Applications for the 2021 Prep CSEF Uniform Package are now open. The information sheet for families can be found on the attached document.
Please note applications for the Prep package will close at the end of Term 3, 2021.
In order for a student to be eligible to receive the 2021 Prep Uniform Package the student must be a Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) recipient. Families who hold a valid concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply.
To redeem the uniform package please come to the office to fill out the attached order form as well as choose your preferred options of uniform.
If you are unsure if you are eligible for CSEF please come see us at the office or email us at south.melbourne.ps@education.vic.gov.au to fill out the CSEF form.
