Research Project on Teaching about Climate Change in Schools and The Australian Bushfire Crisis

As part of research project being conducted by researchers at Monash University and The University of Queensland, we would like to interview school teachers about ethical or professional struggles they may encounter when teaching about climate change and environmental issues, especially within the context of an ecological crisis, like the recent Australian bushfires.

Interviews will take about 45 minutes to an hour and will be audio recorded. Interviews will be conducted over the phone, online (e.g., via zoom or skype); or, if possible, in person in a public but quiet place (e.g., café, library) or meeting room at Monash University or the University of Queensland.

Participants will receive a $40.00 gift voucher to compensate them for their time.

If you would like to find out more about the project, please contact one of the researchers using the contact details below and we can provide you with a full explanatory statement.
