School Noticeboard

Welcome back to Term 2!

For all bus travelers - please ensure you arrive at your bus stop EARLY so you are not holding up other people using the school bus services. Any issues on the buses should be referred to Mr Scott (Secondary) or Mrs Deller (Primary).

All students must be wearing masks on Victorian buses if they are 12 years or over and don’t have an exemption. Pease provide your own masks, and use them each trip.

Online Safety Session

As part of our Pastoral Care Program, Senior Constable Paul Ebsworth (Youth and Domestic Violence Officer) from the Murray River Police district will be facilitating interactive sessions with students from Years 5-12. These sessions will focus on important issues including safe social media use, bullying, respectful relationships and consent. The sessions are tailored to students’ ages and stages with opportunities for students to get involved and ask questions. The Years 7-12 sessions will take place on Tuesday 27 April and students in Years 5-6 will have their session on Thursday 29 April.

The focus of the sessions are as follows:

Years 5-6

  • Knowing how to respond to dangers online

Years 7-12

  • Respectful relationships
  • Consent
  • Social media
  • Bullying and cyber bullying including legal ramifications

For further information please contact Nici Deller (Head of Primary) or Jeff Scott (Head of Secondary).

Student Late Arrivals/Early Departures

Parents and students, please note that there is a procedure to be followed when students arrive late or need to leave school early.

Students and/or parents/guardians of students, who arrive late, are required to report to the Primary or Secondary school office to sign in at the Student Late Stations. Similarly, students who are leaving school early are to report to the Primary or Secondary school office to sign out.  All student late arrivals/early departures require parents/guardians to notify the school (via phone, email or in person) on the day or prior, if known.

Always inform the teacher, as well as the School Office, if someone else is collecting your child. A written note is preferred, though a verbal message is a minimum requirement.
