10P Foodlabs Program

On Thursday, 29th and Friday, 30th April, 10P students accompanied by Ms. Austin, walked over to Whittlesea Tech School to participate in the Foodlabs Program. The aim of the two day program was to create a long shelf life food product which incorporated mushroom waste. Students were very inventive and created recipes that included mushrooms in different ways such as dehydrated powder form mixed in with flour to make mushroom cookies! Students also worked on their communication skills to create a sales pitch for their final product.
