Winter Carnival Details

Friday, 20th of May, is the 2022 Inter-House Winter Carnival. 

This is a compulsory school day for all students. 

The venues & sports are as follows:

St Philip's College:

Badminton – Bruce Reid Sports Centre

Engineering Challenge – Science room 61 

OZ Tag – SPC oval

Other: 

Netball (Girls & Mixed) - Alice Springs Netball Centre, Undoolya Road

Soccer – Ross Park, Undoolya Road

Tennis - Alice Springs Tennis Courts, Traeger Park

Mt Biking - Telegraph Station

Lawn Bowls – Golf Club, Cromwell Drive

• Please remember that House shirts, school PE shorts, hats and appropriate footwear must be worn. No interschool shirts.
• There will be NO BBQs on the day however the café will be open for lunch for events here at School. 
• Students are encouraged to bring recess & lunch and snacks as there will be no canteen facilities available at venues outside the College. Students are reminded that normal College Phone Policy applies on the day and that ordering food to venues through services such as Menu-log or other delivery services is not permitted. Please ensure you bring your own drink bottle for the day.
• All students who are playing soccer are required to wear Shin Pads.
• Be sure you let your parent or guardian know what venue/sport you will be attending on the day.
• Remember to keep well hydrated throughout the day and of course, bring your house spirit.
• Students are reminded that they are not to leave the venue throughout the day unless prior arrangements have been made with their Head of House

Arrival: Students are to be dropped directly at their venues no later than 8:15 and events can be started by 8:30. 

College buses will be departing the school for venues around town at 7.50 am & 8.10 am for those students who require a lift from school.

Departure: The day will finish at the normal school time at 2:55pm.
