Increases in Cafe Prices

The purpose of our café is to provide healthy and nutritious menu items to our students and staff. The café is owned by the College and everyone who works in it is a paid employee, with the exception of Mrs Macpherson, who is a volunteer.

This term you will have noticed that prices have increased on many of our items. 

You might or might not be aware that the costs of many everyday items, especially fuel, have increased significantly this year. As most food items are trucked to Alice Springs, this has led to an increase in the cost to buy food. 

The purpose of the café is not to make a profit but to cover the cost of providing food for you. The options at the café are still great value for money, much better than you could get at any other café, restaurant or fast-food outlet.
