Trinity Sunday Mass

TC Old Boys, current families and the wider community are invited to attend the annual Trinity Sunday Mass and morning tea, held on Sunday 12 June. This is an important date on the Liturgical calendar as it celebrates the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Mass will commence at 9am in the College Chapel, and will be followed by a light morning tea in the Staff Lounge. Please bring along a plate of food to share for morning tea.

Teens, Parties, Gatherings and Alcohol

What do parents need to know?

During adolescence, teens develop a biological need to be around friends and it is important to provide them with opportunities to socialise with their peers whenever possible. Using the most current data, this presentation by Paul Dillon will examine the use of alcohol and other drugs by school-based young people.

Some simple strategies will be provided to help ensure teens are able to interact with friends on a Saturday night and, at the same time, reduce the risk of underage drinking and the potential dangers associated with such behaviour. It aims to empower parents with a positive message and assist them in having open and honest family discussions in this complex area.

*Please note this event is for parents only and is relevant to those with students in Years 10-12.
