Trinity Sunday Mass

TC Old Boys, current families and the wider community are invited to attend the annual Trinity Sunday Mass and morning tea, held on Sunday 12 June. This is an important date on the Liturgical calendar as it celebrates the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Mass will commence at 9am in the College Chapel, and will be followed by a light morning tea in the Staff Lounge. Please bring along a plate of food to share for morning tea.

Seeking Work Placements for Year 10 TC Students

Trinity College plans to have some of the Year 10 students seeking trade-based work, on placements for one day a week across a 10-week period commencing at the end of June. The College is seeking support of Old Boys who may be able to assist by mentoring a student in the requirements and skill experience of their work and of course, to instil some ongoing TC Spirit in the process.

Trades of interest include:

  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Mechanics
  • Construction
  • Boiler Making/Metal Fabrication
  • Boatbuilding/Shipwright
  • Hairdressing/Barber

Work placements are managed by ONSITE, which is an arm of Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) that manages students undertaking work experience away from school. ONSITE works with employers to make sure the students are supported and have clear expectations about the world of work. Trinity students are covered by Trinity College insurance, and ONSITE will meet with employers before placements begin and visit the students during placements to ensure the students are engaged and meeting their responsibilities.

If you have the ability to assist or require further information, please contact the Trinity College Career and Transition Coordinator, Mr Russell Hinks on 9219 1158 or at hinks.russell@trinity.wa.edu.au
