Parent Survey going out from Tuesday 14 June 2022 - Tell Them From Me (TTFM)

Over the next few weeks, we will be inviting parents, students and staff the opportunity to provide feedback on our school, through a survey platform called Tell Them From Me (TTFM). The survey will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete and will provide us with valuable feedback on school life at St Luke’s Catholic College.

Participation in this survey will be voluntary and all responses will be anonymous. Whilst this survey will be optional, please click on this link which contains further detail and the option for your child not to participate if you should choose. 

Once the survey is open a URL link will be provided to the parent community for you to access the survey.

Road and Pedestrian Safety

We have been advised of some near misses between cars and students in our surrounding streets. Please discuss with your children the safest way to cross the road and that running across in front of traffic is not one of them. Parents we also ask that you be extra vigilant as you know children can be unpredictable. Thank you for your continued support.

Parent Learning Walks - 2022

The purpose of Parent Learning Walks is to provide insights into high quality teaching that impacts on student learning. Parents will not necessarily see their own child learning. Due to the nature of the activity, we cannot cater for infants or preschool aged children to be included in these walks.

Parent Learning Walks are hosted for current parents in groups of up to 20. They are led by a senior leader of the College who is sometimes accompanied by another leader or teacher.

The timeline is as follows:

8.30am: Meet and Greet 

8.45am: Introduction

9.00am: ‘Walkthrough’ of one or two learning spaces  

9.15am: Q & A with a senior leader

9.30am: Conclusion

Parent Learning Walks dates are as follows:

• Term 3
  • School of Foundations (K-4) -  Week 3: Tuesday, 2 August, 8.30-9.30am
  • School of Leadership (5-8) -  Week 6:  Wednesday, 24 August, 8.30-9.30am
• Term 4
  • School of Foundations (K-4) - Week 3: Tuesday, 25 October, 8.30-9.30am
  • School of Leadership (5-8) - Week 6: Wednesday, 16 November, 8.30-9.30am
