Wellbeing Matters @ St Luke's

Resources for Parents

Recent events overseas have sadly highlighted to us, once again, that there are some topics that can be quite difficult to discuss with our children. The following links provide some resources and suggestions that may be helpful for parents and carers:

Talking about tough topics with children

Talking to your children about scary world news

Talking to your child about conflict and war

Our Sleep Smart School!

All of our Years 7-11 students have now participated in Lisa Maltman’s Sleep Workshop. As previously mentioned, Lisa has provided a range of resources for parents and carers to further build their knowledge about the importance of sleep and its impact on so many aspects of one’s overall health and wellbeing. The post presentation resources can be found here and are extensive. In addition, Lisa places emphasis on the value of having conversations as a family about the importance of sleep and her questionnaire can be found here for parents and carers to start this important conversation.
