JSA Colour Run

On Friday 17th June, Jacana School for Autism will be hosting a Colour Run for each of the sub-schools. The focus on colour provides the opportunity to celebrate diversity amongst the school community and integrate key messages around cultural diversity, disability, gender equality, Koorie and LGBTIQ inclusion, and the engagement of all students no matter their background, gender or ability.

We are planning for students to join in the fun by passing through colour zones and getting covered in coloured powder whilst completing an obstacle course around the school grounds. Students can run, walk, skip, hop – whatever they fancy. Dressing up is a must to tackle the colour explosion course, with coloured accessories such as tutus, fairy wings, clown wigs, headbands, and various other novelty wear. Be sure to wear a white top or t-shirt to make the coloured powder stand out.
