Premier’s Sustainability Awards 2021

Brentwood Secondary College is excited to announce that we have won the Premier’s Sustainability Awards in the Climate Action Category.

Brentwood was recognised for our 'Towards Zer0 Bremissions' campaign, that aims to reduce our current 540 tons of greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2030.

Fourteen awards were presented on the night, and we were honoured to be recognized as one of Victoria’s sustainability trailblazers. A huge thank you and Congratulations to our students, staff, parents and community partners on this achievement.

Other winners included The Nature Conservancy Australia, who received the Premier’s Recognition Award and Macedon Ranges Shire Council, who received the Premier’s Regional Recognition Award.

The awards, now in their 19th year, recognise Victorians who have demonstrated leadership and innovation in sustainable practices.
