Austin Thank You Week
A massive thank you to the whole school community for your generous gold coin donations for free dress day last Friday. We raised a very impressive $871 for the Austin hospital frontline staff!
Even more special were the amazing posters, banners and cards created by the children, to send to the different Austin departments to display in their tearooms and corridors. So many beautiful pictures and heartfelt messages of thanks. Big thank you to Jake Mutimer for coordinating this massive effort and Katharine Thomas for liaising between school and the C&F committee to make it all happen. I will be contacting the Austin departments to arrange delivery of the messages and transfer of donations in the next few weeks.
Looking forward to exciting times ahead, when we hope to be able to organise more in-person events and be even more involved in the school and local community. Feel free to contact me any time if you would like to get involved in the fun 😊
