Drama

Term 4 has seen Drama students in Year 9 and 10 participate in a range of performance related activities, while the HSC Drama students have been busy preparing for their written examinations. 

Year 10 students completed their scripted Australian drama unit, undertaking an experiential study of an adaptation of Picnic at Hanging Rock. Students developed selected scenes for performance and were required to provide a verbal explanation for their artistic choices. 

Year 9 Drama completed their playbuilding unit at the end of Term 3, focused on small groups creating a series of scenes under the topic of ‘newsworthy’ and COVID-19. Groups shared their performances with the class and submitted logbook reflections detailing and evaluating their process. The students are now finalising their scripted drama unit, having presented a selection of scenes for assessment earlier in the term.
