Year 10 Art Excursion

On Tuesday, 6 August 2019 the year 10 Art students spent a fun, but rain soaked day at the Australian Botanical Gardens to complete an interactive arts workshop inspired by our local environment. After a talk from local indigenous artist, Steve Ulula Parker, in regard to his work, he lead a variety of activities including ochre painting, observational drawings and mandala making with natural materials. 

At the end of the day, students spent period 5, planning and creating artworks based on their experiences and the research they collected.
