Senior Winter Sports

Students from Years 9, 10, 11 & 12 participated in a variety of winter sport in Shepparton.

Girls and Boys AFL, Girls and boys-basketball and Girls-badmitton.  The weather was lovely and the teams had mixed results, but enjoyed the day out representing out school.

Junior Winter Sports

Year 7 and 8 went to Shepparton on a cold, wet, windly day, but the weather didn't dampen their enthusiasm.  They played Boys-AFL, Girls-Badmitton, mixed-basketball and Boys-Soccer. Although the weather was terrible, all the students had a great day out.  They show reliance and continued to show good sportsmanship, as well as team spirit.

Sun Country Cup-Barooga

On April 30th, 2019, Anthony Powell took 22 excited footballers from Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 over to Barooga football ground to take part in this year's Sun Country Cup.  They were joined by teams from SMOTA, Nathalia Secondary, Kyabram P-12 and Numurkah Secondary College.  Our boys were keen to get on the ground and play.

Our first game was against SMOTA were we were beaten very convincingly.  We found out after the game they had been training for the last 6 weeks and had enough players for 2 teams.  Then came the other 2 games, which found us behind at the last siren.

Cobram had a few of its top players out with injury but the boys tried their best on the day.    Well done to SMOTA, who won every game and now go onto the next level.  Cris Santro was given the  best player  for CSC. Great work, Cris.
