Chinese New Year Celebration

Happy Chinese New Year. Welcome to the Year of the Pig.

Chinese New Year is known as Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival. It is the most important event in Chinese culture. The celebration lasts for 15 days until the Lantern Festival.

During the Chinese New Year celebration at Black Rock Primary School, students participated in different fun activities during class time and enjoyed our special performance at the assembly.

I would like to thank our Chinese captains Darcy and Ben T for helping to organise the performance and another thank you to Jake, Harry, Archie A, Sunny, Kynan, Yasmin and Charly for their hard work to make our assembly so special. Congratulations to these students on a wonderful performance.
