CAFE NEWS

We had a wonderful Cafe on Friday, the Cafe was filled with conversation, laughter and delicious aromas.  Cafe was busy with parents, grandparents, and parishioners attending.

We had a very special guest with us, Khansaa from Lombok. Khansaa’s Mum is Hani, a marine biologist, who many of you might remember. Hani facilitated the connection with our sister school in Lombok and is our partner in our “The Sea is Our Best Friend” project.

We began “The Sea is Our Best Friend” project in 2012 with Hani and Khansaa working with the students in Lombok and St Joseph’s with both schools undertaking Mangrove projects. The schools shared learning and exchanged letters, photos and postcards. 

Guests enjoyed a delicious chicken and salad wrap and a scrumptious bread and butter pudding which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Some year 5 students presented their Space projects which were inspirational to listen to.
