National Picnic Week

Last term, Year 11E students celebrated the end of a busy term with a picnic in the sun listening to the audio book of their English text with Ms Zavrou.

Frankenstein

VCE Drama excursion with Ms Louis and Ms Goode to see 'Frankenstein' at La Mama in Carlton.

Medieval Museum

During Term 2, 8A students researched an aspect of medieval life and then shared artifacts they had created to reflect their understanding of the period.

Year 8 Food Technology

Year 10 Food & Culture

Ms Marshall's 2 Food and Culture classes made Kangaroo and Beef Burgers.

 

Students have been investigating what it means to eat “Modern Australian” cuisine and how we can use native ingredients in our every day cooking. 

Creating Future Sport Scientists 

Last term, the Year 12 PE and 10ADP students attended an excursion to Deakin University Burwood.  

 

The students took part in a range of lab fitness tests, increasing their knowledge of energy system requirements, fitness components, and fitness testing.

7E Reading Circles

Students are reading a choice of novels this term: Parvana, Counting by 7s, Harry Potter or Hatchet.

 

They have been reading in their group each lesson, taking turns to read out loud, and conducting a reading circle meeting once a week.
