VCE OES SNOW CAMP

Mt Stirling / Mt Buller

Monday 24 to Thursday 27 July

14 students (Years 10 and 11) studying VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies completed a 4 day, 3 night camp to Mt Stirling and Mt Buller resort.

The snow camp was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience two Victorian alpine environments.

The students and staff (Ms Edwards, Miss Harvie and Mr Tulett had a FABULOUS time! The weather was absolutely AMAZING!

Students stayed two nights at the Cricket Pitch on Mount Stirling which is a semi-permanent camp site. They participated in snow-shoeing and cross country skiing while on Mount Stirling.

On Thursday, students had a down-hill skiing lesson on Mt Buller and then spent the rest of the day skiing in small groups before departing from Mount Buller for their return to school.
