SECONDHAND BOOKS
We NEED your HELP!
Book Week is running from August 21 to August 25 and LHS is running a series of fundraising events for the charity our student committee has chosen; Reading Out of Poverty.
This charity promotes literacy in children from low socioeconomic and disadvantaged backgrounds.
As part of our fundraiser, we will be running a secondhand book stall on Wednesday 23rd August.
To help us, we are seeking donations of any books you might have at home that you no longer need/want. These books will be collected at school over the next few weeks and then sold at the book sale, with all money raised going to Reading Out of Poverty.
If you have books you would like to donate, you can drop them off in the collection box at the Main Office, or students can drop them off in their Sub-School Office or in the Library.
It's a great way to clear some shelving space at home and support a great charity at the same time!
