STEAM Week 2023

We had a big Week 7 at Kambrya College with our annual celebration of STEAM Week. The students partook in multiple activities and events to celebrate their love for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. We had a fantastic participation rate for our morning quizzes with almost 300 students taking on the challenge and winning some great prizes. We also had amazing displays and activities such as the famous Elephant Toothpaste Experiment run by Ms Kaur, a VR Experience with Mr Embleton, an Exploding Watermelon Experiment run by the Year 10 STEAM students, and a mathematics competition. The one event that brought a huge crowd was on our Arts Day, where we held a Talent Show in the courtyard. Amazing performances from Gauri Singh and Jodicee Tenisio with their amazing voices, and a brilliant Bollywood dance by Aish Anand, Devika Anand, Pallavi Nagalpatti Prashanth and Dhrithi Vinay. Special mention to Adrian Violi for always supporting STEAM week and providing our AV equipment for every single event.

Overall, it was a successful week, and was a pleasure to see so many students getting involved in the events and quizzes, and supporting this domain. Well done to all!
