The results allow them to predict how new cockpit technologies and procedures will work in the real world. Swinburne offers a bachelor degree designed specifically to train students as a commercial pilot - Aviation. Swinburne partners with Jetstar and Qantas with a Cadet Pilot Program.

A new course being offered from 2023 is the Bachelor of Innovation which is a degree student scan do as a double degree with a number of other bachelor’s degrees. Students who choose this course can complete it in one extra year of study.

Launched in 2020, Swinburne introduced its Professional Purpose Program, geared towards assisting students identify their values and goals, and letting those guide their career choices. The Professional Purpose Program runs alongside a student’s bachelor’s degree and functions like a life and career planner. Its objective – to help students make the most of their university experiences and set themselves up for the sort of meaningful success others can only dream of. In some degrees, this program is actually embedded in the course.
