Facing difficult circumstances?

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Isn’t life full of ups and downs!

At times, we find ourselves facing difficult circumstances that test our faith and resilience. In moments of hardship and uncertainty, it is essential to remember that even when bad things happen, God is with us always, surrounding us in His unconditional love. With a sorrowful heart we think of Rhyan and a former student who were victims of a violent attack last week.  We pray for their family and for God’s healing hand upon Rhyan.

In times like these, Psalm 34:18 reassures us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. Even in our darkest moments, God's love shines through the kindness and support of others. As a Christian community, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ, comforting those who are in pain and extending a helping hand to those in need.

With that in mind, Rhyan’s classmates wanted to highlight the go fund me for Rhyan, which would cover some of the medical expenses and any unforeseen costs. On top of that the students want to also donate some money to a knife crime prevention cause such as the “lose the knife” campaign seen here: https://www.crimestoppersvic.com.au/current-focus/lose-the-knife/

So, if you would like to support Rhyan, please feel free to donate to either causes.

In the midst of adversity, our faith can be refined, and we can grow stronger in our dependence on God. We learn to trust Him more deeply, knowing that His love remains steadfast. Together, as a close-knit Christian community, we can lean on one another and be a beacon of hope for those facing difficulties.

Let us continue to reflect God's love and support one another, embodying the message that His love never fails.

May the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Amen
