Community Garden News

Welcome to the Community Garden for 2023!

We had an amazing year in 2022 with many changes to our garden area, which is continuing into 2023!  We have such a serene space where all students can enjoy nature, relax and learn.

Tam and I have been busy painting our garden shelter, ready for student artwork to be displayed!  We have installed a chalkboard for our students to get creative whilst in the garden and we are continuing to expand our dinosaur play space!

We have been harvesting zucchini and cucumber with corn and beans rapidly growing.  Thanks to Bunnings and Noble Park Secondary College, we had an amazing working bee late last year. We now have 2 huge garden beds which are ready for our  ‘indigenous edible plant area’ which will be finished soon.

This year, students will be working with our worm farms and learning how to compost with our 3 new bins. We have many more projects planned for our amazing area which we know our students will enjoy this year!
