 LENT

A time of preparation for the feast of Easter. During Lent, we give special attention to prayer (attending to quality more so than quantity), fasting (emptying ourselves that we may be filled with the life and love of Christ) and good deeds (not to win admiration for ourselves but to help others). Though it has a penitential character, Lent is a joyful season as we anticipate the resurrection of the Lord.

SHROVE TUESDAY

Thank you for your support  on Shrove Tuesday the sale of the Pancakes.  Caritas/Project Compassion will receive the proceeds of this day.

ASH WEDNESDAY

Thank you to all the families & friends who were able to join us at Mass on Wednesday.

Project Compassion Boxes

We encourage families to donate during the season of lent to support the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people living in poverty. Together, we can make a difference now, and For All Future Generations. These boxes will be collected at the end of Term 1.

Prayer - LENTEN PRAYER

Loving God,

Help us to work together

to share what we have

so that everyone has what they need.

Help us to build a better world

where each of us can become the best person we can be.

Amen.
