Student of the Week Awards Presented 17/2/23

Abigail S. - 00M

This award is presented to Abigail for the effort she is making to enter our classroom in the morning with a smile on her face. Abigail is a kind, happy student who is quickly learning the routines and expectations of coming to school. Keep up all the great work you are doing Abigail and keep smiling!

Bodhi N. - 1/2B

This award goes to Bodhi for his kindness and attitude to learning. Bodhi is always offering to help others in the classroom without being asked. I am impressed with Bodhi’s efforts in class, as he is always working hard to achieve success in his learning.

Sienna R.  - 1/2C

This award goes to Sienna for using her writing time effectively. Sienna has been working hard on writing a story about an adventure with her friends. She has included some wonderful ideas and interesting words in her writing. Well done Sienna!

Cooper L. - 1/2R

Congratulations Cooper for always following the H.E.A.R.T. values and for being a fantastic role model for his peers. Also, for always being kind and sensitive to those who may have different thoughts and opinions. 

Eason C. - 3/4B

This award goes to Eason for his fantastic writing this week. Eason planned very thoughtful and interesting arguments about why PE is the best specialist. He challenged himself to include interesting sentence starters and word choice. Keep up the superb work!

Alisha C. - 3/4S

This award goes to Alisha for the great ideas she came up with when planning her persuasive writing. Alisha identified arguments about why Performing Arts is her favourite specialist subject and provided reasons to support her arguments. Alisha, it was wonderful to see you so focused on your writing.

Oliver L. - 5/6B

Congratulations on a terrific start to 2023 Oliver. I have been really pleased with the way you lead in our classroom. You are focused, listen to instructions and take great pride in the work you produce. This maturity gives you the best chance of succeeding with your learning and sets a great example for those around you. Keep up the great work Oliver.

Ryan L. - 5/6D

Congratulations to Ryan for demonstrating the HEART Value of Excellence this week. In Maths, Ryan made the choice to challenge himself when learning about 3D prisms by creating his own nets. You could feel the challenge in the room as you watched Ryan trial and error with the task. Well done, Ryan! Keep working hard.

This award goes to Ryan for demonstrating a hardworking and persistent attitude. This term, he has completed all set tasks to the best of his ability and is always eager to share his learning.

 Ches P.  - Mandarin

This award acknowledges and congratulates Ches for taking initiative in his learning during Mandarin class. We were marking the roll and Ches wanted to write “I am here” in Mandarin. Great start to the year, Ches!

Hannah D.  - Physical Education

This award goes to Hannah from 3/4K, for the wonderful effort she made in PE this week. Hannah was enthusiastic and eager whilst participating in the Auskick AFL clinic. Keep up the great work Hannah!
