Curriculum News

Teachers have been working hard to complete testing the students in Literacy and Numeracy. This is so that they can gather data to group students and differentiate their learning. Tomorrow is our final day for SMASH weeks learning, focusing on our SMASH expectations and our Matrix of Expected Behaviour. Students have also focussed on how we can have positive social interactions with each other at St Michael's School. Next week students return to their regular learning schedule. All of the overviews for this term will be shared in level newsletters that will be shared via Operoo tomorrow.

NAPLAN - Years 3 and 5

As we approach the end of week 3, notice has come through that the NAPLAN tests will be administered earlier this year for our year three and five students.

If this involves your child, please click on the link to read through the following brochure:

Please email myself at eellis@smashburton.catholic.edu.au or Emma Quinless at equinless@smashburton.catholic.edu.au if you have any queries about adjustments or exemptions for NAPLAN.

Have a great week!
