Leilani Simon and Maddison Bull for successfully securing a school based traineeship with Westpac and CBA respectively.

Leilani and Maddison will combine the study of a Certificate III In Business Services and on-the-job training whilst completing their HSC.

Thank you to our local business community for supporting our young people.

Year 10 had the opportunity to participate in a phenomenal job readiness workshop.

The EDGE workshop provided students with practical tips to help them gain employment and inspire them to explore rewarding vocational career pathways.

The workshop introduced students to the world of work through fun, interactive activities. It covered everything from interview advice to grooming and wardrobe tips to help prepare students for their first jobs.

AN AWESOME DAY !!! The presenters were SENSATIONAL as were our beautiful students. A special thank you to our presenters, staff and students.

Year 10 you were exceptional! I was so incredibly proud of you!

ANU is holding their Open Day on Saturday 18 March 2023. This is your chance to learn about life after Year 12 – what it’s like to live, study and play at university. ANU direct applications are open from March to May, so you might even score an early offer – and take some of the stress out of your final year. Don’t miss it – take the whole family! 

ASC is extremely grateful to our regional Universities who visited our school today. Representatives from the University of New England, Southern Cross University, University of Newcastle and Charles Sturt University provided our yr12 students with valuable information covering:

• The admissions process – deciding on courses, UAC and alternative entry

• Career destinations and work experience

• Accommodation options – on campus/off campus, catering, costs, support

• Financial considerations – HECS/HELP, additional study costs, scholarships

• University life – making the most of your university experience, how university life differs from school, how to be successful at university.
