POSITION VACANT: CANTEEN ASSISTANT (PERMANENT PART-TIME)
Armidale Secondary College P&C operate the school Canteen every school day throughout the year. We are seeking an individual or individuals who are motivated, honest and independent to work as Canteen Assistant/s on a Permanent Part-time basis. Working Monday to Friday between 8:00-3:30 (approx. 35 hours paid per week) the position would be suitable for an individual or as a job share arrangement. Conditions and wages for this role are in accord with the Fast-Food Industry Award (MA000003).
To be considered for this position it is desirable that you meet the following criteria:
• Have experience working in a commercial kitchen independently and as part of a team
answering to our Canteen Manager.
• Be able to devise/test and produce healthy new menu items according to the Healthy
Schools Canteen policy.
• Be familiar with and use safe food handling procedures and be willing to complete a safe
food handling qualification.

· Current and valid Paid Working with Children Check
· NSW Drivers’ licence
· Evidence of prior work experience in a Commercial Kitchen including customer
service and cooking experience.
