Nude Food Day
Every Tuesday is Nude Food Day! Our Nude Food Tuesdays were developed to encourage kids and parents to eat well, live well, and eliminate all unnecessary packaging and wrapping that comes into the school. Essentially, students bring their food – NUDE (without wrappers). This reduces the amount of rubbish that goes into our bins, that goes into the ground, that pollutes our planet. This is an amazingly simple concept that really empowers the children to create change! Our ultimate goal is to be able to get rid of bins in the yard altogether!
Compartmentalised lunch boxes are perfect for Nude Food lunches! Below is a link to a recipe booklet created by Nude Food Australia. We hope you enjoy these recipes as they result in healthier, happier children and a happier and healthier environment!
