2020 MATHS CHALLENGE

The College entered in this year’s Maths Challenge.  A total of 17 students participated this year. Maths Challenge is one program of Math Young Australians. It is designed to motivate and stimulate mathematically interested students. It caters to a wide range of abilities – from challenges that introduce problem-solving concepts through to enrichment studies.

Maths Challenge is a fun problem-solving program for students in Years 7-10, designed to extend their mathematical skills. Interesting problems are presented in a staged approach meant to encourage critical thinking. Taken individually or as a small group. It runs over three or four weeks starting towards the end of Term 1 and finishing at the start of term 2.
