Northlea's Holiday Hampers

Every year Northlea participates in a Holiday Sharing Project. This year, the Holiday Sharing Committee, led by Ms. Cranswick, has chosen to continue supporting the YWCA Women’s Shelter Arise and we would like to ask all of you for your help.  

For twenty two years, each class at Northlea has adopted a specific family and prepared a Holiday Hamper for that family.  This year we will be collecting food, toiletries and gifts for the families. Through the generous support of the Northlea school community, our school helps more than 30 families each year.

Please send in your donations to your classroom teacher by the morning of Monday, December 11th so that we will have time to organize the hamper before it is collected. The Holiday Sharing Committee has already witnessed the generosity of the people in the Northlea community, so we hope that it is not too bold to thank you in advance for your kindness. This is a very worthwhile project and we are delighted to be part of it!

Northlea's Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived.

When: Monday December 4th to Friday December 8th

Where: Our Library

Our special Family Event will take place on Thursday December 7th from straight after school until 8pm.  Don’t forget to mark the Book Fair dates on your calendar!  Can’t wait to see you there.

Winter Concerts

We are so excited to welcome everyone to our Winter Concerts.  

When:   Wednesday, December 13th, 2017  Afternoon show @ 1:30 PM & Evening show @ 7:00 PM

Where:  Northlea United Church - 125 Brentcliffe Rd, Toronto, ON M4G

The afternoon concert is typically less crowded so we do encourage you to attend the afternoon concert if you are able to do so.
