Dear Parents/Guardians, students & Staff

Welcome back to everyone for Term 4.  It has been great to see students engaging and learning in classrooms throughout  the school this week.  We are heading into exam time for Senior classes and I know they are all working hard with their teachers to achieve the best possible educational outcomes. Thank you to staff who ran and supervised Senior study sessions over the September break.  Your efforts will be rewarded with great exam results.

Over the last 2 days McGuire College has hosted over 200 students from outlying Primary schools for the MARC Van cluster day celebrating book week.  Our Year 7 students have also been involved in the activities which included dress ups and performances, emphasising and enjoying the magic of reading books.  Well done! Thanks to Bob Boyer, Anna Sloane and Gabby McKindley for organising this event.

On Wednesday afternoon we had a meet and greet event for all staff  who are moving to new campuses for 2020.  We have 28 new staff  moving to our campus in 2020 from (Shepp High School, Wanganui Park SC & Mooroopna SC).  We welcome these staff to the McGuire Campus as part of the new College beginning next year.
