Senior School

Senior school's unit of inquiry this term is all about sustainability.  We have been looking at different sustainable methods relating specifically to plants and the impact it can have on the plant itself, the environment and the animals which rely on them.

Students have been tasked with conducting two experiments this term, looking at watering methods with lettuce plants and salinity using radish plants.  We are tracking their growth to see the impacts of different watering methods/salinity on the plants themselves.

These experiments put into effect the importance of conducting a fair test, and being aware of controlled and variable elements that can be present.

This week also marks the beginning of our next major assignment for Senior School.
