Old Orchard Emails

Dear Parents

 

We have been notified that many of the Old Orchard emails are going to your ‘junk’ folder. We are in contact with Sentral to see if this issue can be rectified. In the meantime, if you have any Old Orchard emails in your junk mail, please follow these steps:

 

  • Right click on the message
  • Select junk
  • Select never block sender

This should ensure messages will now go to your inbox.

 

We are trying to streamline our communication so it is mainly coming from the Old Orchard account.

 

If you have any issues please don’t hesitate to call the office on 9877 7899.

 

Working with Children Check

 

There are some parents who have Working with Children Checks that have expired.  

 

Please  note that it is mandatory for any person working with children in our school to hold a valid W.W.C. card - if your card has expired you will not be permitted to work with students or assist with school programs.  You  must present your W.W.C. card at the office each time it is renewed.

Notice from CommBank School Banking

The health, safety and wellbeing of our communities and our people is our first priority. Due to the rapidly developing situation with coronavirus, School Banking has been temporarily paused from 20 March 2020 .

 

We will notify you when banking will recommence.

Parents may wish to pay school fees, excursions swimming charges with Direct Deposit on the Net.

Eg. Name and activity— Camp, Excursion etc.  This enables us to accurately credit your

Payments can also be made on line through the Sentral Parents Portal.

Advertising in our newsletter

 

If you would like to advertise in our newsletter please contact the school office on (03)9877 7899 or old.orchard.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au

 

Rates are:

$25 per week (a discount applies for longer periods)

 

Advertisements need to be emailed to the school by Thursday for publication in the

Newsletter. Our newsletter is normally online Thursday afternoon/Friday morning.
