Farewell Fr Pompeyo 

How blessed we have been to have Fr Pompeyo with us this past year! Covid times have been very challenging and a very difficult time to be a Parish Priest in a new community. We thank you Fr Pompeyo for your flexibility and your openness. We thank you for your patience and your gentle goading. We thank you for blessing us with a new vision and for embracing ours. We thank you for your eternal good cheer, Your jokes and your smiles. We thank you for Growing in Faith Together with us at St Mary’s Echuca. May your travels be safe, Your time with your mother and family be treasured, And may God bless you in this next chapter of your life. Go well Pompeyo, Go with God.

Our Deacon, Jackson Saunders will be ordained as a priest on Saturday, 26th March @ 11am at Sacred Heart Cathedral Bendigo. We wish him the very best as he prepares for this sacred sacrament.

Zoom Lenten Program 

Our Parish had a very successful Zoom Mass program recently. We believe we can do the same with a ZOOM LENTEN PROGRAM. Brendan Shingles will run the program on our behalf. So on Wednesday nights at 8.00 PM during Lent (except for Ash Wednesday and Wednesday before Holy Thursday), we will spend 30 minutes sharing music, prayers, our Lenten experiences, and the like, from the comfort of your own home. Let Brendan know if you want to join in (brendanshingles@bigpond.com or 0437941620) so he can send you the link OR the link will be shared on our Facebook page and website, or each week on the newsletter.
