A bucket, some sand and a whole lot of fun!

Last week the Junior children got into the sandpit again to create sandcastles. It was a great opportunity to practise resilience as sandcastle after sandcastle fell to the ground. That didn't deter our participants who kept persevering as they strived to construct a unique sandcastle in small groups.  There were a number of original sandcastles built with bits of twigs and flowers added. 

When you are out of duty you are often invited to participate in a make-believe afternoon tea and sample a cake made from the sand! Mmmm. Delicious. This week in "Sandpit Club" the children will be making and decorating sand cakes.
