Sharing one of the great stories from Before and After School Care

Diary Entry: Thursday 10th March 2022

Thursday and it is the Brick 4 Kidz special program this afternoon.

Jai and Kaiser were eager to start building bricks with Bindi.

Before starting they ate a healthy array of fruit and a serving of yoghurt and berries.

Then off they went back into the OSHC room to build.

Overall, another fantastic experience, with Kaiser and Jai being active in choosing blocks, following the diagrams and putting blocks together

Have a look at the great experiences these boys had - being open to new challenges and discoveries.

Thanks Bindi. We had so much fun constructing things with Bricks 4 Kidz.
Challenges help us learn.

Wow. This is great fun.
Bindi, I'm just going to add one more bit. There! Awesome!

In the Wellbeing Section of the newsletter, we speak about the benefits of after school activities for children. Our Patch offered BRICKS 4 KIDZ this term which was open to any student, not just those attending after school care. The activity was led by a special instructor trained in delivering the program. If you are interested in finding out about an after school activity at HOLY FAMILY for your child in Term 2 please read the Our Patch news in our newsletter and look out for information on Operoo. Participation in an afterschool activity may be a great opportunity for your child to experience something new.
