2022 St Simon the Apostle National Ride2School Day

National Ride2School Day is Australia’s biggest celebration of active travel. It is a day full of fun and colour where students, teachers and parents discover the joy of riding and kick-start healthy habits for the future.

At St Simon’s we encourage all students to ride, scoot or walk to school safely throughout the weeks ahead. In the weeks leading up to our school’s Ride2School Day on Friday 1st April, we will be taking a tally of students who ride, scoot and walk to school everyday to promote active, healthy habits.

Furthermore a bicycle and scoot course will be set up on various mornings on the basketball course. The course will be designed to practise and refine our student’s riding and scooting skills. All students are welcome on these mornings from Prep to Year 6. Dates of the morning riding courses are below:

Wednesday 2nd March from 7:30am-8:30am

Wednesday 23rd March from 7:30am- 8:30am
