School Fete 2018

It’s our FETE year ... let’s get excited!!!

Sunday 27th May ... put it in your diary NOW.

School Council has great pleasure in introducing our Fete Organisers for 2018: Fiona Harris and Sally Russell ... cue wild applause!!

Planning is underway ... only 14 weeks to go ...

Our theme is “THE GREATEST FETE” ... and we can confirm that our very own Mike McLeish will be MC on the day ... donning his finest Hugh Jackman apparel, a la “The Greatest Showman”.  Now we need to hear from YOU!

We are seeking IDEAS for FETE STALLS ... think carnival, vaudeville, side-show alley ... you get the gist? 

Of course there will be room for our favourite food stalls, toy stalls and the like but we’d love to hear your ideas for stalls that will complement our theme.

Yes ... there’ll be RIDES!

Yes ... we’ll have the Kids Talent Show!

Yes ... the Parents and Teachers Band will be performing!

BUT what else would you like to see?  You’re not committing to anything by offering suggestions ... please add any ideas to our FETE BOARD which will be on display in the yard at drop-off and pick-up every day, or email ripperfamilies@gmail.com .

Please also let us know if you can take on one of the following roles:

• ENVIRO CAPTAIN ... we want someone to oversee our environmental-friendly approach to this fete ... we want minimal waste!  This is not a big job ... talk to us about what is involved.
• SILENT AUCTION ORGANISERS ... grab a couple of mates and together you can co-ordinate the fete’s BIGGEST money earner.
• GRAPHIC DESIGN ... can you help design our logo and billboard??
